The School of Business at Bond University, Australia invites applications for appointments at any level in the Marketing department. September 2008 is the desired starting date. Outstanding scholarship, high teaching quality and credentials in executive education are the primary criteria for selection. A behavioural or behavioural/strategy emphasis would be the best fit with the existing facultys research interests; however, we are open to other research interests.
A PhD in Marketing, Psychology or a similar field along with a record of excellent performance in the classroom, and a consistent (or potential) record of research culminating in publications in high quality journals is essential. Successful senior level candidates will be expected to add substantially to the research profile of the School of Business through their own activities as well as their ability to foster the development of research amongst junior colleagues.

Bond University offers accelerated degree programs in a highly personal, small class setting. Typical class sizes are around 30 students. Of all the Australian universities, Bond University is the most similar in schedule and structure to a North American university and offers a research-oriented teaching load of 2 and 2 (often leaving consecutive months free for research).
The Bond University campus is located on the Gold Coast one hour south of Brisbane in a sub-tropical region minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Less than one hour inland are mountain ranges with hiking trails amid lush tropical rainforests. Sydney is just a one hour flight south from the Gold Coast’s own airport.
