Marketing Faculty Positions
The Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for two, possibly three, tenure-track positions in marketing beginning Fall 2008, or until filled. The positions’ ranks are open. Candidates for Assistant Professor must have a PhD in Marketing or a related field (or plan to complete it by Fall 2008) and strong research skills with the potential to publish in leading academic journals. If this contingency is not met prior to the appointment, the starting rank will revert to that of Instructor. Candidates for Associate or Full Professor must have a distinguished track record of publication in leading journals and evidence of strong teaching performance.. Candidates at the senior level are expected to play a leadership role in the department. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and rank.
We seek candidates whose teaching and research interests are in:
- Buyer behavior, integrated marketing communications, and introduction to marketing.
- Brand management, marketing management, introduction to marketing, and/or directing student consulting-type projects.
- Market research/opportunity analysis, development of marketing systems and/or directing student consulting-type projects. Interests in supply chain would also be a plus.
