PLEASE SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT AND COME TO NEW ORLEANS IN JANUARY.
The date for submission of abstracts for the 2008 Cultural Perspectives in Marketing Conference has been extended to June 30, 2007. Harish Sujan (local at Tulane University) and Lucette Comer (Purdue University), co-track chairs OF THE SALES, DIRECT MARKETING, AND E-COMMERCE TRACT, would welcome abstracts from researchers who are pursuing cross-cultural or diversity issues in any of the above three domains. The conference represents an opportunity to interact with other academic researchers in marketing who are interested in multi-cultural issues. A visit to New Orleans, as is often mentioned in the press, will do wonders to further such an interest. Submissions are to be in the form of extended abstracts, ranging from 2 to 4 pages in length.
ABSTRACTS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED VIA E-MAIL TO EITHER OF THE TRACK CHAIRS: HARISH SUJAN (hsujan@tulane.edu) or LUCETTE COMER (comerl@purdue.edu).
The conference wil be held January 16-19, 2008 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, LA. This hotel is a beautiful, luxurious hotel (with an incredibly attractive courtyard, New Orleans style) situated on Bourbon street itself. Please address any questions to either Harish Sujan or Lucette Comer.
We hope to see you in New Orleans. Thank you in advance for your support for this city.
