The Department of Marketing at the Shidler College of Business () invites applications for a tenure-track assistant level position to begin in the Fall of 2008. Detailed information:
Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing, position number: pending, UHM Shidler College of Business (Manoa), tenure-track, full-time, anticipated to begin Fall 2008, subject to availability of position and funds.
Duties: Teach undergraduate, graduate, and executive courses in various aspects of marketing as needed; conduct research and engage in scholarly activities; participate in university, college, departmental, and other service activities.
Minimum Qualifications: 1) Doctorate (ABDs with all requirements for doctoral degree completed by the start date will be considered) in marketing or closely related field from an institution of recognized standing; 2) evidence of teaching ability at College/University level; 3) evidence of research capability as indicated by refereed publications, work under review, and work in-progress.
Desirable Qualifications: 1) Previous College/University teaching experience in marketing courses; 2) scholarly publications in marketing topics; 3) scholarly interests in Asia/Pacific; 4) excellent communication skills.
Pay range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
