JSR’s Inaugural Impact Factor

The Journal Citations Report just released by the ISI Web of Knowledge ranks the Journal of Service Research (JSR) as 13th among all business journals in terms of impact – ahead of other prestigious publication outlets such as Harvard Business Review, as well as service-focused journals such as the International Journal of Service Industry Management and Service Industries Journal. JSR’s impact factor for 2006 is an impressive 1.722. This level of impact is especially noteworthy since the journal is relatively young (founded by Roland Rust in 1998) and achieved SSCI-status only in 2005. Please continue to consider JSR as your first-choice outlet for your best-quality service research. Further information about JSR and manuscript-submission guidelines is available at: . Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments about JSR. Thank you.
