Faculty of Business and Law

The Faculty of Business and Law, The University of Newcastle, NSW Australia, is entering an exciting new stage in the development of the Faculty’s teaching and research programs. The Faculty is seeking up to 18 new appointments at levels ranging from Associate Lecturer to Associate Professor, including several in marketing and tourism, across the School of Law, School of Business and Management and the School of Economics, Politics and Tourism. The new appointees will participate in the Faculty’s new undergraduate Business programs, its revised portfolio of postgraduate degrees (comprising the DBA, MBA and specialist Masters degrees) and its enhanced Law teaching program, including the Diploma of Professional Practice.

School of Business and Management

Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Associate Lecturer in Business and Management (Up to Eight Positions)

The School is seeking applicants for a range of positions in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Marketing, International Business, HRM, Organisational Theory, Organisational Behaviour and Management.

School of Economics Politics and Tourism

Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Tourism (Up to Two Positions)

The School seeks applicants with teaching and research interests in tourism management (including policy and planning, environmental and sustainable tourism, visitor behaviour and management, festival planning, and tourism marketing). The appointee will be expected to form links with local and regional leisure and tourism agencies.

Salary ranges (Australian $):
Associate Lecturer $45,544 – $61,807
Lecturer $65,061 – $77,261
Senior Lecturer $79,699 – $91,900
Associate Professor $95,966 – 105,722

An employer superannuation contribution of up to 17% is additional to the salaries listed above.
