Texas State University-San Marcos (Texas State) invites applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing in the McCoy College of Business Administration. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or closely related business field; ABD’s will be considered depending on their program completion date. Appointment at the associate rank requires an established research record and demonstrated teaching and service accomplishments. Preference will be given to candidates who provide evidence of excellence in teaching and scholarly activities. The position requires teaching undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses, with preference given to teaching consumer behavior, sales, or marketing management courses at the main campus and the Round Rock Higher Education Center; conducting and publishing high-quality scholarly research; and providing service to the profession, the University, and the business community that is consistent with the college mission.

Texas State is a doctoral granting university located in the burgeoning Austin-San Antonio corridor, the largest campus in the Texas State University System, the 7th largest in the state, and one of the 75 largest universities in the country.
