Interactive Marketing and Online Collaboration
The Department of New Media Technology is seeking outstanding candidates for the position of a Researcher and Lecturer in Interactive Marketing & Online Collaboration. MODUL University Vienna is a recently founded private university with an international orientation. It is located on top of Kahlenberg, a scenic hill overlooking Vienna. The university combines a strong academic foundation with state-of-the-art curricula and a commitment to innovation and sustainability as key drivers of success in a dynamic and knowledge-based society. Appointees are expected to make significant contributions to the university’s teaching and research activities.
Requirements
- A degree in marketing, information systems or a related area
· Excellent written & spoken English (German is not a requirement); given the university’s international orientation, native speakers are particularly encouraged to apply.
· Specialization in one or more of the following fields:
I. Interactive Marketing and Public Relations
II. Virtual Communities, Social Software and Web 2.0
III. Development, Management and/or Promotion of Projects in
Travel and Tourism, Sustainability and Environmental Protection
IV. Curriculum Development
- Ambition to produce internationally recognized research output, and willingness to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
The position is available from 1 August 2007, or from a mutually agreed date. Initially, contracts are offered for the duration of one year (€ 25,000 per annum in year 1, € 34,000 from year 2 onwards; additional allowances are available).
