LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY invites applications for a new senior position in Marketing at the rank of Professor beginning in the Fall of 2008. Selected candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to the Marketing discipline with a history of active engagement in both the academic community and local business communities.
We seek a candidate who has strong research record regardless of the marketing sub-area. The candidate’s research agenda should be managerially focused (research should be empirically as well as theoretically useful) and lead to publications in top marketing journals. Loyola Marymount University requires excellence in teaching, as well as research. Therefore, strong teaching credentials at the undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA levels are required. A service component is also part of the faculty position.
Located in the vibrant and ethnically diverse city of Los Angeles overlooking the Pacific Ocean, LMU serves over 5400 undergraduates and over 2500 graduate students. The College of Business Administration is AACSB-accredited and offers undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA programs.
