Newly formed as a stand-alone department, the Department of Marketing at Northern Kentucky University is seeking applications for the position of department chair at the rank of associate professor or professor.  Preferred starting date of appointment is January 1, 2008 but appointment may begin fall of 2008.  Candidates must have a relevant Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited school and a record of scholarship, service, public engagement and teaching sufficient to warrant appointment as associate professor or professor.  Outstanding teaching skills, a commitment to scholarly productivity and public engagement are required.  Previous experience as a chair is preferred but not required.
