Reviewers needed for J Internet Commerce
Introduction
Due to an increase in recent submissions, we need to expand our pool of marketing reviewers for the Journal of Internet Commerce
Dear Colleagues:
We are looking for reviewers to assist in the review of papers submitted to the Journal of Internet Commerce (JIC). We have recently seen a substantial increase in the number of submissions to our journal and are in need to expand our reviewer pool. We are looking for reviewers with expertise in the various aspects of electronic / internet commerce as they relate to marketing. Submitted manuscripts tend to cover a wide range of topics that would fall under this broad category.
JIC is receiving papers in, or related to, the following areas:
- How e-commerce systems are changing business relationships
- Business process change in e-commerce systems
- Integrating the Internet into existing operations
- Extending or reinventing existing business models using e-commerce systems
- Use of e-commerce systems for customer service delivery
- E-procurement
- E-supply chain management
- Justifying the investment in e-commerce systems
- Legal, ethics of issues in e-commerce
- The global aspects of e-commerce
The mission of JIC is to publish high quality, original research in the area of internet commerce. Publications will include the results of research and case studies that advance the development, implementation, and success or failure of internet commerce initiatives. This journal is intended to be of value to both academic and practitioner audiences.
If you are willing to help us out, please contact me at wrclark@mtsu.edu or Dr. John M. Pearson at jpearson@cba.siu.edu. We are hopeful that we will be able to expand our reviewer base enough so that each reviewer would be able to review only a reasonable number of manuscripts. We usually ask that reviews be completed in 8-12 weeks, with only an occasional “fast track” review.
