The Consumer Studies Research Network is hosting a one-day mini-conference, “The Present and Future of Consumer Studies,” in New York City at Barnard College on August 10, 2007. This conference brings together faculty and graduate students to discuss new work in the sociological study of consumption. The event will be highlighted by a panel of distinguished sociologists.
