College of Business, Oregon State University invites applicants for two nine-month, tenure track positions in Entrepreneurship at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (depending on qualifications) to begin September 2007.

Primary teaching responsibilities involve delivering undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship and innovation. Scholarly activities are expected to result in peer-reviewed journal publications. Service includes engaging with Austin Entrepreneurship Program activities and contributing to the College and University strategic initiatives.
 
Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.  Employee benefits are excellent.  Required qualifications for assistant or associate professor include an appropriate earned doctorate with an emphasis in entrepreneurship or a related field and a record of significant evidence of potential for research and scholarly publication.  Relevant teaching experience at the college/university-level is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who have academic or professional experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, or the commercialization of technology. While not required, applicants with undergraduate or graduate degrees in technology-related disciplines are particularly encouraged to apply.

Instructor/Assistant Professor of Marketing.

The Department of Marketing and Business Administration & Law of Western Carolina University invites applicants for a one-year fixed term position in Marketing at the level of Instructor or Assistant Professor beginning Fall semester 2007.  Normal teaching load will be four courses per semester at the undergraduate or graduate level. Primary duty assignment will be the main campus in Cullowhee although some assignments may be in Asheville or other off campus sites and may include evening classes as well as distance and/or on-line delivery methodologies.

The successful candidate may be expected to be involved in appropriate student organizations as well as fulfill nominal departmental/institutional service obligations. A commitment to engage students with professionals in the business community would be a definite plus.  This position requires an least an MBA awarded by a traditional regionally accredited university (AACSB-accredited College of Business preferred), excellent communication skills, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and related work experience.
