ELMAR to Return Shortly

Many of you I am sure have noticed that ELMAR was silent last week. Here is why.
On Saturday morning, the 24th of February, I crashed my racing bicycle. I cannot tell you exactly how it — I should really say, how I, — went down since a sort of Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle apparently applies to such events. I can only report that an outside observer gave me score of "9". I apparently lost a point on aesthetic factors.
An hour or so later I found myself checked into the with multiple trauma. That does not include the mental trauma of leaving my dear wife more or less alone with limited knowledge of Italian, and of leaving you, dear subscribers of ELMAR, without your daily Community Updates.
I was released from the hospital Saturday evening, the 3rd of March, and everything is mending well with no long term problems foreseen. I am now in the process of attacking the virtual, but considerable, stack of ELMAR related email that piled up while I was living la dolce vita there in bed #5 in the department of Chirurgia D’Urgenza.
In the near term, I will try to focus on the more critical and time-sensitive items and get ELMAR going again. It will take me a few days to get rolling due to various considerations involving pain-killer, pending lectures and personal tasks.
