The Department of Management & Marketing at the University of Wyoming is seeking up to three additional marketing faculty members (assistant, associate, full, or distinguished professor). There are currently six tenure track faculty members in marketing, including an associate and assistant hired in the Fall of 2006. Hires for these positions would have the title of Professor of Sustainable Business Practices (or corresponding rank). These positions, funded by the Wyoming State Legislature, are part of a statewide initiative on sustainable business.
Qualifications
The College of Business has defined Sustainable Business Practices as those practices that contribute to economic development and to community well-being. The marketing group conducts research and teaching consistent with the College’s initiative in sustainable business. Individuals interested in conducting scholarly research in this area and/or those who could contribute to the research synergies of the current marketing faculty are encouraged to apply. Current faculty research interests are in the areas of macromarketing, public policy, ethics, consumer behavior, international marketing, business-to-consumer strategy, and retailing. The teaching load is at most two courses per semester. Senior people with experience in developing graduate programs in marketing and/or teaching in graduate programs in marketing are encouraged to apply.
Candidates for this position will have prior industry and/or teaching experience and a Ph.D. in marketing from an AACSB-accredited university or from another recognized school. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to publish research in quality journals and to teach effectively in undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates should have an interest in providing service to the University of Wyoming and to the marketing discipline. Finally, candidates should be committed to enhancing a collegial environment.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Ghent University invites applications for one or more permanent research positions at the assistant, associate or full professor level. Successful candidates should contribute to the research output of their respective group by conducting high quality research at the international level. Teaching load is limited to maximum one course per year (preferably at the Master or PhD level) and can be in English. The field of research specialization is open and applicants in all areas of economics, econometrics, accounting, business, business finance, management, marketing, operations research and management science will be considered. The rank of appointments will be determined by the qualifications of the candidates.
Applicants must hold a PhD and must have demonstrated their ability to make significant research contributions in their fields proven by several publications in top ranked international journals. The faculty offers a stimulating international environment for research which should give the candidates the opportunity to further develop their research output.
