Workshop on Writing and Publishing
EIASM, Brussels, March 5-6, 2007.
Research output is critical to the progression of any academic career – academics are judged by their publications. But it is not always easy, especially for younger academics, to translate a research project into a publishable paper. This workshop aims to help with this process. The objective of the workshop is to improve academic output by helping’ early career’ academics to identify approaches and practices that will facilitate publishing in academic journals.
Participants on the workshop are required to submit a short proposal (max. 5 pages) by January 5th 2007
The Chairperson is Peter Verhoef (University of Groningen)
The Guest Speakers are (still to be confirmed) Roland Rust (University of Maryland), Stefan Stremersch (Erasmus University) and Stefan Wuyts (Tilburg University)
The Organising Committee is composed of Deborah Roberts (Nottingham University Business School) & Ann Ledwith (Limerick University)
