The A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration and John F. Donahue Graduate School of Business invite applications for one tenure-track faculty position in marketing and entrepreneurship beginning August 2007 at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in marketing or entrepreneurship, preferably from an AACSB accredited institution, and at least two years of teaching experience at the University level. Substantive business experience will be regarded very favorably, as will the ability to contribute to marketing concentrations in addition to the general marketing curriculum.
Duties include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing and/or entrepreneurship; conducting quality research; and service on faculty committees.
Specific responsibilities include teaching up to six courses per year in undergraduate and graduate marketing courses in the Palumbo and Donahue Schools. In addition, faculty are expected to produce a consistent stream of quality research, participate in curriculum development, serve on various department and school committees and participate in department, school and university activities.

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
The College of Business Administration at the Universidad de Talca, Chile, is accepting applications for 3 tenure-track ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR positions in the areas of INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS, FINANCE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY to commence August 2007. An early start can be March 2007. Primary responsibilities include a) research and publishing in the top journals of the discipline and b) teaching courses in international business at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Normal teaching load will be two to three courses per semester.
Required: A doctorate from an accredited business school with a major or concentration in International Business, Finance, or Information Technology or a related field, or ABD and in the final stages of dissertation completion; a strong research agenda; and evidence of teaching excellence in international business / finance / information technology courses at the college/university level.
Preferred: Demonstrated scholarly activity commensurate with experience; research agenda that can incorporate Latin American topics and issues, and/or competitiveness of small and medium companies; teaching experience at the college/university level in international business / finance/ information technology; and teaching philosophy consistent with the college’s competences-centered and business-connected mission. POSITION: Two (2) Full-time, tenure track position in Marketing available in August 2007.
RANK: Tenure-track, assistant/associate professor of Marketing (rank commensurate with qualifications and experience).
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach Marketing courses at the Undergraduate and potentially Masters levels as well as a willingness to teach online. Advise marketing majors and conduct appropriate journal level research. Serve on department and university committees.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates will possess an earned Marketing doctorate from an AACSB accredited school of business. ABDs near completion will be considered. Research and teaching emphasis in the areas of consumer behavior, marketing research, new product development and pricing or sales and sales management are preferred but not necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research. A productive research program resulting in journal publications is expected. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
