I have a colleague, Reed Hunt, in cognitive psych here at UTSA. Reed has just finished editing a basic research book on distinctiveness and memory, and is now interested in editing a book on applications of the concept. He thus is interested in hearing about any research on its application in marketing. If you’re doing research in this area, or know folks who are, please let him know about it.
