The Department of Marketing at Rutgers Business School, housed on both the Newark and New Brunswick campuses, invites applications for two visiting and/or full-time instructor positions in the Marketing Department starting either spring or fall 2007. The visiting position requires an ABD/Ph.D. in marketing or a related discipline and a commitment to quality teaching. For the full-time adjunct professor position, a Ph.D. degree is preferred, although applicants with a master’s degree with substantial teaching experience will also be considered. We seek adjunct faculty whose expertise is in the following areas: Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, International Marketing, Sales Management, and Distribution Channels. Anheuser-Busch Professor in Tourism Position
Position: The College of Business at The University of Texas at San Antonio invites applications for the Anheuser-Busch Professor in Tourism position beginning Fall 2007, pending budget approval. Salary will be competitive with other public research universities and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Research support will also be provided. Responsibilities include teaching graduate (MBA) and undergraduate and the expected teaching load is two classes per semester.
Required Qualifications: This appointment will be at the rank of associate or full professor. Required qualifications are a Ph.D. in a relevant field, a substantial and continuing program of research published in high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly journals, and a record of effective teaching.
Preferred Qualifications: Individuals with specializations in any tourism or hospitality area (other than Culinary) may apply, but preference will be given to candidates with research interests in tourism destination management, a record of industry activities, and experience teaching tourism-related courses.
