TRACKS AVAILABLE FOR PAPER SUBMISSION

PRIMA 2007 will investigate the nature and quality of pricing research. We will examine theoretical approaches and scientific themes while exploring practical ways to empower and revitalize new insights in pricing.

The conference programme is divided into five tracks, which cover accepted research fields within the Pricing and Marketing disciplines from both academic and managerial perspectives. The following tracks are provided:

Those interested in submitting a paper are invited to send it to one of these tracks

  • General Track in Pricing
  • Strategic Pricing (e.g. pricing strategy, price image, branding and pricing, positioning, value and pricing, price interaction in the marketing mix, policy and price controls, legal pricing issues)
  • Behavioural Pricing (e.g. perceived price fairness, reference prices, price and consumer behaviour, psychology of price, price perceptions, price emotions, demographic effects on price responses, odd/even pricing, ethical pricing)
  • Pricing Tactics (e.g. methods for price setting, bundle pricing, price differentiation, elasticity estimation, international pricing)
  • Industry/ Sector Pricing (e.g. pricing for services or products, trade pricing, b2b and b2c pricing)
