Nominations being accepted for the 2007 Louis Stern Award for Best Article on Marketing Channels and Distribution

The Louis W. Stern Award, established by Louis W. and Rhona L. Stern in 1999 through the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Foundation, recognizes the outstanding article, in a widely recognized and highly respected refereed journal, which has made a significant contribution to the literature on marketing and channels distribution. Articles are eligible for award consideration each year between three and eight calendar years (1999-2004) after publication in a refereed journal in any applied or basic discipline.

Joe Cannon (Colorado State University) chairs this year’s committee that also includes Bart Weitz (University of Florida) and Aric Rindfleisch (University of Wisconsin). Articles published in any journal during the period 1999-2004 are eligible. The selection criteria for the award, a list of eligible channels related articles (provided for your consideration), and past winners can be found on the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø IOSIG website ( – click the tab for the "Louis. W. Stern Award" and the link under eligibility.) The committee will be accepting nominations until October 31, 2006. Comments on nominations are especially appreciated.
