The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars from various disciplines and countries interested in retailing and consumer services. The conference will give delegates an opportunity to present their completed projects but also to present work in progress.

E-mail: eirass@bwk.tue.nl

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  OCTOBER 1, 2006

Please send abstracts by email, using the attached format. The abstract should also clearly indicate if co-authors, if any, will participate.  Abstracts should be limited to 1 page.

FORMAT
To encourage discussion and the presentation of very recent work, completed papers are not required for participation. A book of abstracts will be published. In addition, we stimulate submission of papers and extended abstracts and we will put these on a CD-Rom. Deadline for papers is April 1, 2007. Submitted papers qualify for an award competition. Submission of an abstract means that at least one of the authors will attend the conference, if the paper is accepted (be aware that we often have to reject papers because of capacity constraints!!).

SPECIAL SESSIONS
Participants interested in organising a special session are invited to send their proposal to the above address. Proposals should include: (a) a detailed description of the proposed session; (b) a list of the proposed speakers; (c) whether or not each speaker has agreed to serve if the proposal is accepted; and (d) the names and addresses of the chairperson and discussants, if any. Sessions are typically organised in blocks of 3-4 presentations.

NOTIFICATION
We plan to notify delegates by November 1, 2006 about the acceptance of their work for presentation at the conference. Delegates are expected to arrange their registration and conference fees before February 1, 2007 to guarantee accommodation and enjoy reduced room prices.

CONFERENCE PACKAGE: 998 Euros before February 1, 2007, 1250 Euros after this date.
This package includes participation, documents, cd-rom, book of abstracts, three nights of accommodation (arrival: June 29 – departure: July 2, 2007), all tea and coffee breaks, lunches, conference dinner, all taxes and service charges.
