CALL FOR PAPERS
International Journal of Market Research Special Issue on Ethnography
Guest Editor: Philly Desai
Submissions would be welcome in the following areas:
- Case studies describing applications of ethnographic research. We would welcome contributions from as varied sources as possible;
- Theoretical developments in this field or submissions based on academic research;
- Descriptions of methodologies and practical advice for those thinking of using these techniques;
- Reviews of existing knowledge in this field;
- Practical issues faced in conducting ethnographic projects;
- International or culturally diverse applications;
- The impact of ethical and legislative issues, for example, data privacy legislation;
- Likely trends and future developments.
We would welcome contributions from market research practitioners, academics working in this field, social or public sector related sources.
Submissions might be formal papers (up to 5,000 words); case studies, ‘thinkpieces’ or examples of best practice for the new Forum section (1,500–2,500 words) or a Viewpoint (500 words).
The latest, updated, Authors Guidelines are published in IJMR or can be viewed on the IJMR () and MRS () websites.
