TENURE-TRACK MARKETING POSITION: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Marketing
STARTING DATE: September, 2007.
EXPECTATIONS: Research and graduate and undergraduate teaching in Marketing and at least one other area (preferably Internet Marketing, New Product Commercialization, Marketing Communications, Buyer Behavior and/or International Marketing) to meet the needs of the marketing program. Candidates must also have strong research and interpersonal skills and an ability to function as a team member.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration (focus on Marketing or closely related field) from an AACSB accredited college. Candidate must show strong research skills and potential for scholarly publications as demonstrated by presentations and publications after peer review. We will consider ABD with expected completion by December 2007. Candidates for the rank of Associate or Full Professor must have a proven record of teaching and publications.
PREFERENCES: Strongly preferred characteristics include: previous professional and/or teaching experience, excellent oral and written communications, ability to work in a team environment, and a willingness to interact with professional community members.
SALARY: Competitive
SUMMER SUPPORT: $10,000 per summer for first two summers.
RELOCATION EXPENSES: up to $5,000.
TEACHING LOAD: two courses per quarter; graduate and/or undergraduate courses.
THE COLLEGE: RIT’s AACSB accredited College of Business offers bachelor degrees in business administration with majors in accounting, finance, international business, management, management information systems, marketing, graphic media marketing, and entrepreneurship. Graduate programs include an MBA, an MBA in Accounting, an Executive MBA, and Master of Science. The Department of Marketing in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University (Waco, Texas) invites applications for tenure-track position(s) beginning August 2007, pending final approval. Preference will be given to candidates with research/teaching interests in the areas of services, customer relationship management, buyer behavior, interactive marketing, or sales & sales management. A reduced teaching load (less than 2-2) may be negotiated for outstanding candidates. Summer research support (20% of annual salary) accompanies the position. Requirements:

This opportunity was made possible by an endowment honoring Helen Robson Walton, a graduate of The University of Oklahoma. It is intended to attract a rising or established scholar to join the exciting growth of the Price College of Business and the Division of Marketing and Supply Chain Management.
