UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS, St. Paul, MN – has a tenure-track Marketing position to begin Fall 2007. Qualifications: PhD or ABD with completion by Fall 2007. Successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and building a research record. The College of Business supports an undergraduate business curriculum as well as full-time and evening MBA programs and the MBC (Master of Business Communications). Preference will be given to candidates who blend academic credentials and professional experience in marketing related positions.

Purdue University Calumet’s Department of Marketing, Human Resources, and Management invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in Marketing position effective Fall 2007. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing, scholarly research leading to refereed publications, and participating in professional, university, and community service. Can accommodate a wide range of teaching interests. Opportunities for interacting with regional businesses are excellent and encouraged.
Required qualifications: A PhD in marketing or related field. ABD near completion will be considered. Candidates should have evidence or promise of scholarly research and effective teaching. Additional qualifications considered a plus: teaching and research experience in marketing and/or professional non-academic work experience.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications. We offer summer research grants and other forms of professional support.
The School of Management offers the following degree programs: Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Accountancy. The Department of Marketing at Kansas State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Marketing at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning in August 2007. The department has recently adopted a focus on technology with an interest in Geospatial Information Systems. Candidates who can make research and teaching contributions in these areas are especially encouraged to apply. D.B.A. or Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field is required by the starting date. Salary and fringe benefits are competitive with peer AACSB schools. Excellent teaching, research targeted at competitive marketing journals, professional service to the Department, College, and University and continuing career development are required for promotion and tenure. The average teaching load is 2/2 (6 Hrs. /Semester). The successful applicant is expected to be an outstanding colleague with demonstrated teaching ability who will interact professionally with other active faculty and teach at the MBA and undergraduate levels. The Department of Marketing currently consists of eleven full time faculty members serving 350 marketing majors.
