The Department of Marketing at Northern Illinois University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2007. An earned doctorate in Marketing or ABD with expected completion of all requirements within one year of appointment, college-level teaching experience, publication evidence, and relevant business experience are required.  Primary teaching responsibilities will include teaching International Marketing/Global Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Buyer Behavior, and other courses of the successful candidate’s interest, at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary is competitive.

The NIU College of Business is AACSB accredited at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  The Department of Marketing has 12 full-time faculty members and offers a diverse and collegial work environment in a state-of-the art facility in DeKalb, IL. The main campus of the University is located about 60 miles west of Chicago in a growing and progressive community.  The Department maintains extensive ties with the dynamic Chicago area business community and offers ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The School of Business, Clarkson University, an AACSB accredited institution, seeks candidates for a permanent (all ranks considered) faculty position(s) for Fall 2007 or Spring/Fall 2007 to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Marketing with an interest or demonstrated competency in the following areas:  (1) channels of distribution and supply chain management, or (2) innovation and entrepreneurship.

Our Supply Chain Management program has been consistently ranked in the top twenty schools by US News and World Report for the last 3 years.  Clarkson University is starting a new university-wide initiative on innovation and entrepreneurship.  This initiative will also be housed in the School of Business.
