DATA MINING & INFORMATION ENGINEERING 2007

INTRODUCTION

The Eighth International Conference on Data, Text and Web Mining, their Business Applications including Information Engineering Management is the recognised forum for new developments in this important field.

The Data Mining (DM) part of the conference includes Text Mining and Business Applications, a field of active research and development. Many Institutions have derived considerable benefits from these applications and are now applying the methodology to increasing effect.

Information Engineering Management has found applications in many areas, including environmental conservation, economic planning, resource integration, cartography, urban planning, risk assessment, pollution control and transport management systems. The technology plays an active role in linking economic development and environmental conservation planning and its relationship to Data Mining.

The meeting provides an international forum for researchers and applications developers from many different areas to share state-of-the-art research results and practical development experiences.
