Service Business. An International Journal.

The Service Business focuses on business research for the service sector and provides a means of communication for those working in the business field of service irrespective of discipline, functional area, sector or nationality. SB is focused on both the profit and non-profit areas of the service sector.

Service Business is a multidisciplinary journal that places great emphasis on manuscript quality and potential impact on the field. It would be likely to become essential literature for researchers and instructors in business, service industries, scholars and students, businessmen, managers, consultants and practitioners in the field of sector services in both the private and public sector.

Service Business publishes conceptual and empirical papers, practical and educational articles, case studies of successful firms, and book reviews dealing with business and service industries, broadly defined. Manuscripts that are suitable for publication in the Service Business cover many aspects that must be taken into account at the local, regional or national level, and which are relevant on an international scale, in private and public organizations.  Examples of appropriate topics are Economics of service industry, Business, Operations, Human resources, Organizational design, Information systems, Quality and TQM, Strategy and management, Marketing, Global issues in service industries, Innovation Management. It means, some list of keywords that adequately describe the journal would be: business, service industries, economics, e-commerce, bank, market, SME, quality, organization, technology, management, tourism, hotel, restaurant, service, strategy, operations, finance, human resources, entrepreneurship, information system, development, marketing, growth, global markets, outsourcing, leadership, innovation. Submission of a paper will imply that it contains original unpublished work and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. 

Manuscripts should not exceed 8,000 words for regular articles, and 1,500 words for book reviews. Every article published in the SB is subject to a double blind review process to ensure its relevance and quality. Authors whose papers are accepted or who are invited to submit revisions of their work will be expected to adhere fully to the guidelines as part of the revision process.
