The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø’s Services Special Interest Group (SERVSIG) is pleased to announce the Thirteenth Annual Services Doctoral Consortium. The Services Doctoral Consortium is organized by SERVSIG and sponsored by the Center for Services Leadership at Arizona State University. It is designed to introduce doctoral students and new faculty into the global network of services scholars and help them launch productive academic careers. The Services Doctoral Consortium provides a unique opportunity for attendees to interact directly with leading academicians from around the world and to create invaluable contacts with peers. Attendees also benefit from hearing broad, international perspectives on services research and gaining new insights on historical, contemporary and emerging developments in services scholarship and teaching.

Faculty panelists share their expertise, exchange emerging views, and lead interactive research activities with attendees.
The day-long event, including breakfast, lunch and refreshments, will be held in Brisbane at the University of Queensland Business School Downtown Campus (Level 19, Central Plaza One, 345 Queen Street). Sessions will include panel discussions on conducting and publishing services research, interactive breakout groups featuring student work in progress, and practical advice on services pedagogy. This year’s scheduled speakers include Ruth Bolton, Eileen Bridges, Peter Danaher, Bo Edvardsson, Ray Fisk, Les Johnson, Janet McColl-Kennedy, “Parsu” Parasuraman, and Roland Rust, along with other notable scholars who will support the interactive student research activities.
A HELPING HAND FROM OUR SPONSOR: The Center for Services Leadership at ASU, in cooperation with the Liam Glynn Research Award Fund, will contribute toward a limited number of travel grants to help doctoral students attend the Consortium.
