ELMAR User Surveys
The CommunityZero platform has a simple survey tool, and it would of course be absurd for a group of marketing academics not to use it. I have tested it a little bit over the past two months, but now it is time to put it to work in earnest. As such, I would like to announce that the tool is live on the ELMAR site with a very general question on user satisfaction, or lack thereof, with the new ELMAR platform. You can see it at under "What’s New" or by clicking User Surveys on the left hand nav bar.
If anyone is interested in suggesting survey questions, please feel free. I am thinking that we can ask a different question each month. Send email to elmar@ama.org.
Speeding Up Login
In general, if you tend to use the same machine, you shouldn’t have to re-login. If you don’t log out, you don’t have to re-log in.
Also, you can check the box that says "Remember Me" on the login screen. This will get you logged in faster if you do log out, or your session times out.
In addition, Internet Explorer and other Web browsers have their own mechanism to facilitate the log in process, by pre-filling form information. This is an option that you can enable if it doesn’t already work that way for you. On Internet Explorer it is under Tools… Internet Options… Content… Autocomplete. Admittedly none of this will work with a machine in a public place.
