The Nijmegen School of Management is a young and dynamic management school. It is the fourth largest school in the Netherlands and is very positively evaluated by students as well as by staff. The school offers Masters in Marketing, Strategy and International Management, among others. Research of the Marketing & Strategy group is dedicated to researching the relationships between companies and stakeholders using different approaches, including a relationship marketing perspective.
Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to high-quality teaching, both at the bachelor and master level and to contribute to the group’s research activities. The ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in marketing or related area, and a demonstrated ability (or clear potential) to publish in international, refereed journals.

TENURE-TRACK, HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT
The Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. We seek a colleague with expertise in health care administration or management, health services research, or a business discipline (accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, MIS, or management) with an emphasis in health care. Approximately 1800 undergraduate and 70 graduate students are currently enrolled in the school’s programs. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are AACSB-International accredited. There are currently 44 full-time faculty members in four academic departments: Accounting, Economics, Finance and Management Information Sciences, and Management Studies (which includes Marketing, Human Resources and Management). The School offers the Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA degrees. Regional outreach is accomplished primarily through activities of the School’s Center for Economic Development, Bureau of Business and Economic Research and the Center for Economic Education. The individual hired for this position will have responsibilities in teaching, research and service. The individual will teach required and elective courses in health care administration and in their specialty area. Currently, the teaching load is five sections (15 credits) per academic year. Also required is the creation of knowledge in the area of health care administration resulting in its dissemination through the publication of articles in refereed journals, the presentation of papers, other acceptable channels and through ones teaching area. The individual will be responsible for advising undergraduate students, assisting with the health care management internship program, and working with student organizations. The individual will be expected to engage in service activities with colleagues, the department, School, campus, community and professional organizations.
Required: Applicants must be ABD (with a clear plan for completion by September 1, 2007) in health care administration or management, health services research, or a business discipline (accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, MIS, or management) with an emphasis in health care; potential for scholarship resulting in publication in refereed journals; ability to teach courses in health care management as well as courses in at least one other business-related discipline; willingness to fulfill service responsibilities and expectations to colleagues, the department, School, campus, community and professional organizations; willingness and capability to advise and work with students and student organizations.
Preferred: Ph.D. in health care administration or management, health services research, or a business discipline (accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, MIS, or management) with an emphasis in health care; evidence of publication in refereed journals; experience teaching college-level courses in health care management or other business-related field; work experience in a health care organization.
