Reviewing these Top Chapters Plans & Reports will help your chapter improve and assist in preparing your own Chapter Plan and Annual Report for the following academic year.
To be considered for Top Chapter Recognition, a chapter must submit their 2 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Collegiate Chapter Affiliation Reports: Chapter Plan (in October) and Annual Report (in February), and CHAPTERS must opt-in to be Judged with both their Chapter Plans and Annual Reports, and must identify the Chapter Division: Small Chapter Division (25 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø National Members or Less) or Large Chapter Division (26 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø National Members or more). Both divisions are judged equally based on their ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍøZING work throughout the year!
Best Practice Tips:
- Assign each incoming Chapter Leader/E-Board Member 3-4 chapters to read both the Chapter Plans and Annual Reports (great way to gain best practices & insights).
- Have them write down a few ideas from each chapter that they were impressed with or an idea they would like to implement in the coming year.
- Have a brainstorming session in the summer or early in September to hash out everyone’s ideas:
- At this point, you may have too many ideas and not everything will be able to be implemented and maybe not on the scale of the award-winning chapter – but do your best!
- Borrowing a great idea and adapting it to your own collegiate chapter should put you on the road to your own chapter’s success – so get inspired!
- Have your Chapter Plan ready before the deadline date (due in early October) and your Annual Report ready by the start of the New Year (due in late February).
