Due to the shift to a virtual 2021 蹤獲扦夥厙 Summer Academic Conference, the 蹤獲扦夥厙 will not be providing Academic Placement services as part of the 2021 summer meeting. In lieu of a hiring event, the 蹤獲扦夥厙 asks employers and job seekers to consider the following hiring schedule regarding the Fall 2021 job market:
- September 1: All job postings to be available, and openings may be sent to ELMAR.
- September 15 – October 15: First round interviews to be held.
- October 1 – November 30: Campus visits, and 蹤獲扦夥厙 recommends site visits to take place with guidance set forth by COVID-19 protocol established by the hiring institutions.
In lieu of the Academic Placement event, the 蹤獲扦夥厙 will be providing more details on resources for job seekers, including programming in collaboration with the Doctoral Student SIG before and at virtual Summer 蹤獲扦夥厙.

Monica Gerhardt is Director of the Academic Communities and Journals at 蹤獲扦夥厙 where she delivers community-driven events, supports volunteer leaders and Special Interest Groups, and continues to foster a sense of home for fellowship and camaraderie among marketing academics.
