From the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Academic Council Executive Committee
Due to the shift to a virtual 2021 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Winter Academic Conference, the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø will not be providing Academic Placement services as part of the 2021 winter meeting. In lieu of a hiring event, the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø asks employers and job seekers to consider these recommendations regarding the Fall 2021 job market:
- The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø recommends interviews take place in or after January 2021, with exception for February 17-19, so students and employers are able to fully participate in the virtual 2021 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Winter Academic Conference.
- The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø recommends site visits take place with guidance set forth by COVID-19 protocol established by the hiring institutions.
- In lieu of the Academic Placement event, the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø will be providing more details on resources for job seekers in the coming weeks.
